Intermittent Wipers for any 67-72 truck

Found these and thought someone might be interested...
First is a module to convert your existing wiper

http://www.revolutionelectronics.com...-wiper-module/

GM Intermittent Wiper Module

Upgrades classic GM vehicles to include three intermittent wiper delays in addition to the stock slow and fast speed options.
Utilizes the stock two speed wiper switch and motor for a totally stock appearance.
Designed to work with GM two-speed, non-hiding wipers. Will not work with hiding (recessed park) wiper motors.
Add intermittent wipers to your Chevelle, Nova, Caprice, El Camino, Corvair, Camaro, Firebird, trucks, etc. New software now works with C2 Corvettes (make sure you tell us so you get the latest software if you need this for a '63-'67 Corvette.)
Yes, it works great with the '67-'72 Chevy Trucks! (Installation photos here)
One year warranty

$71.99 PN 13009 (GM cars and trucks from the 60's and early 70's with factory two-speed, non-hiding wipers)

Second is a replacement motor with more speeds

https://www.detroitspeed.com/1964-19...iper-kit.html#

Selecta Speed Wiper Kit

A downpour of rain will no longer hinder your ability to clearly see the road. This kit provides you with the performance and convenience of a late model wiper system in a package that easily and cleanly mounts in your truck.

The wiper kit contains a low profile, seven-speed wiper motor with 5 delays, low speed, and high speed, rotary switch, adapter plate, and wiring harness. The CNC aluminum adapter plate mounts the wiper motor to the stock firewall bolt pattern and requires no permanent modifications to the vehicle. The supplied wiring harness uses the factory wiper grommet opening and requires no cutting of the factory harness.

New improved features include:

•Easier Installation:

The wiper switch and wiring harness plug into a wiper control module located under the dash. The wiper motor connector is already installed on the wiring harness, saving you from having to pin out the wiper motor connector. The wiring harness has also been simplified with new wiper control module design.
•Push Button Windshield Washer Function:

The seven position rotary wiper switch now features a push button function for a windshield washer option. Once the push button function is released, the wiper blades cycle 3 times just like your current OEM vehicle. The wiper blades then continue to operate at the last switch position. The wiring harness includes a weather pack connector/harness for an inline windshield washer pump.
•Smaller, Lighter Wiper Motor:

Modern OE wiper motor design is more compact for a cleaner look giving you more room under your dash.

Applications: 1967-1972 C-10
$575.00

Now that is just fabulous. When I win the lottery I am going for the motor assembly. Or maybe I could stop playing and just save up for this...

Why not support a board member here? Twouvakind has delay wiper modules for sale. I bought one a couple of years ago and works perfect, plugs right in. Contact him or search his UN.

That was for the new 7 speed motor with all switches and hardware needed to mount it in the 67-72 trucks.

I like this MUCH better, never liked having to ADD ANOTHER SWITCH to the dash to control wipers like twouvakind does.

Thanks for posting mcmlxix

I agree. The extra switch looks tacky but I really like his set up so this is what I did. I used a pointometer from a 1970 cadillac twilight sentinel and made it work behind the original knob. All in 1 place. Looks clean. I also added a new bezel behind the headlight switch to make them look the same. You can see more in my build. Video of it working here. https://youtu.be/XfVXsbGdSzU

Extra switches! Tacky... huh! You people think everyone should like the things you do! I can't understand it, why is it you just can't keep your mouth shut about something that you personally thinks tacky! The only thing tacky is your response.
As far as the extra switch goes it looks right at home on most trucks and if it weren't for this board most of you wouldn't even know what was stock on one.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Wow. This board gets worse with negativity every day. I can think what I like about tacky. I didn't say you have to like what I do. Gets to the point where I don't even want to post my "ideas" here anymore. Wasting my time.

I'm not over board...I just don't think it's right a member (Twouvakind) has worked hard on here to supply this board with a product and another member can call it tacky! Just because it's his opinion.
If he can express his why can't I?

Re: Intermittent Wipers for any 67-72 truck

I never called his work tacky. His work is great. That's why I bought his product over the ones above. Actually I bought 4 of them. Work great. Couldn't be happier. I don't like extra dials buttons switches etc. On my dash and neither did the member that posted before me so I simply offered a solution to make it suit his needs so maby if he likes that he will purchase from twoofakind instead of the others not on the board. Even posted a video using twoofakinds unit. Anyway this thread is about intermittent wipers not defending what is right or wrong so let's get back to that.

The problem being, he posted an opinion, you attacked him personally because of his opinion.

Exactly.
I also said I liked this OP's solution better personally, and want to be free to express that.
I like to solve problems and be able to share that info with others. We can all choose to buy what we like.
Also, It is good that there are folks here who sell various supplies but that does not make them sacred by any means. Its a plus that most sell superior quality goods. But remember, anyone with $20 can sell here, what makes that special exactly?
I like that the OP's posted product solves this solution much simpler and is a better design that simply uses one original switch instead of two for same operation. Watch the video, he also makes dome light dimmers, headlight/radio relays etc.

So, as I stated before his opinion is ok but mine not!
And yes you called his added switch tacky but yet you bought them to make yours.
OK that's fine.

Thanks for posting up your idea Rod, please continue posting and contributing to the board and do not let one persons opinion affect your coming here.

I’m not going to even bother telling anyone to settle down, they will just keep posting and arguing and jawing cause they have nothing better to do... it’s like talking to a cinder block, so the thread is now closed.
