Re: Chevy 51" original Texas truck,,now in Holland

Just read your build. I never thought about how hard it is to build a vehicle outside its country of origin. Good thing you travel to the US a lot so you can get parts. You could start a side business picking up parts for ppl in Holland lol. Very nice job.

Thanks Lower50's
It cost A lot more cash if you build a car or truck in another country.
I am lucky indeed, that I can take home a lot of parts, But I Will be happy when The truck is finisht,
Your truck sounds real good, like your build, like the diesel, keep up the good work

And I'm in, want to see this beauty when finished.
amazing looking truck, lots of cool stuff and definitely an inspiration.
but with all the new stuff you buy, damn what a budget that takes!

the car show you posted, was that the "saterday night cruise" in The Hague?
will be going there 2nd of April.

Re: Chevy 51" original Texas truck,,now in Holland

I am Always waithing for parts to come in
So I was a little bit bored, so started remodeling my garage
Had a lot of licence plates of the places that I visit with my work
So I put them on the wall.

And I welded a New aluminium door, so the truck is now in my man cave

You have a really nice man cave
Truck is going nice too!

Do you have your own dyno??
When I was young, I worked on the racebike of my neighbour, he raced Superbike 1000 cc 4-stroke in the early 80's. That were great times!!
Goodluck this weekend!!
Stay save!

Yes, the man cave / garage looks really good! As does the truck and the new differential.

Good luck with the racing!
