Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

Yes sir. Eventually one day I'd like to take this truck on a road trip to the west coast and I think buying this 6.0 with the 6L90 6spd auto trans will go will with my 4.10 gear. I'm pretty excited about it!

Congrats on the engine, it'll be nice to not have to stop and fill up every 150 miles.

Russ you will not be disappointed with the fuel injection, reliability, & drivability. Once I "drank the LS cool aide" I can't imagine putting a carb in one again (no disrespect to anyone). Love your choice. Oh by the way your making me wait way too long for updates!!! LOL!

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

I believe that's a double overdrive, too, right? That should be perfect with your one-ton rear ratio and the height of the 22" semi wheel/tire.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)

What is the axle width supposed to be for a dual wheel C30 with a fleetside bed (like yours)? From hub face to hub face.

I will get you some measurements today. The rear I am running is a dana 70 dual rear wheel from a 91 chevy 1 ton.
