Thanks Jeff. I will probably do this while my truck is getting paint.

No. Took a good nap and watching the Super Bowl. I'll hook up my fuel line, add the coolant tomorrow. And clean my valve covers that I'm gonna cut to adjust the valves. i found your string if you want to stop by and pick it up and/or help. lol

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I cut one of my valve covers so I could adjust my valves without a big mess. I got my cut a little too high but it still works. I will clean up another valve cover thats not dented like the one I cut and run it. I just did the pass. side. It got a little too hot to touch everything so I'll do the drivers side tomorrow. I hear a little ticking coming from that side.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Yeah I think its going to be fine. I will check the pass. side again tomorrow to see if anything backed off. Then do the drivers side. I shot a couple videos but the sound is so loud you can't tell that it actually sounds good.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

I ran the exhaust outside so I could hear better. Checked the pass. side and adjusted the drivers side. Now I need to clean up the valve covers and paint them. This video sounds about the same but she is running good. I still need to figure out whats wrong with my temp gauge. Its still pegging out. temp sender is new. The two new ones I bought do the same thing. poop..

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Chuck, do you have a cheap aftermarket temp gauge? You could try that to eliminate a few areas that it might be.

Himey gave me one but the sender is 3/8''. I'm going to trace my wire to see if its grounded somewhere.

Re: Chucks SWB Fleetside

Well I went down stairs, cranked up some music, and got to it. I got it all back together with the exception of routing my spark plug wires. I'm looking at that corrected cap for 45.00 from Jegs. May wait till I get that in.
