You can't imagine how AWESOME I think it is that you've joined in!! I won't mention the Ex and how much my '67 made her cringe and how she wanted to smash my laptop because they took attention away from her. BUT what I will mention is that my new Love doesn't wanna ride in my truck...she wants to DRIVE it!! Bless her heart, shes a tiny thing at 96lbs, she not big enough to muscle the manual steering and not strong enough to push in the heavy clutch so I'm seriously considering swapping to power steering and adding an automatic transmission so she can enjoy it! Thanks for joining the group! Your Husband has made a big impression on the guys here!

My wife puts up with this and my time in the garage. She even drove my truck this year for the first time. But when I talk shop her eyes glaze over. She just like the shiny stuff at the end, after the work is done.

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

It's more work than baggin the typical straight axle rearend but have you thought about using an independent out of a T-bird or Expedition? I had a buddy use a similar setup in his 4 Runner to keep the rear seat in place. He just had to put in larger wheel tubs but was able to keep the bottom seat area and driveshaft tunnel factory. Thought I'd throw that idea out there.
