yes sir it bolts right up. My original intention was to use stock trailing arms but found a deal on the cpp ones that I couldn't pass up. I had the same concerns as you did

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread

I do have a question that I hope someone out there can answer. Has anyone ever added bump stops to this set up? Porterbuilt arms with a stock crossmember?

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread

well Ive made a little progress since last time I posted. I got my PB hinges in and some sweet hood brackets made by Hart_rod and started one my engine bay covers

I relocated my MSD box from under the glove box to here

I also made a bump stop for the front..it was a little to low to use the factory inner fenders

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread

I know I haven't posted in awhile but not a lot has happened. its hard to find time to work on it but this is what I have done.

I got these sweet hood brackets from hartrod to mount the hood to the porterbuilt hinges

I also got the engine bay panels a little further along for my first time ever attempting something like this I think they are turning out pretty good. they still need a lot of work but you get the idea

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread

more of the panels
you can see where I had to cut out for the brake lines and it was a giant pain in the A** to get it looking right.

and it with both sides in. passenger side need a lot of work but i'll get it there.

Cool. Like the way it has transformed. I like the sheet metal work under the hood.

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread

just a few updates. I got it back down to the frame and am working on finishing it up. I finally got the right rear end. I also set the engine in so I could test fit the headers and make an exhaust. so far so good. the engine is coming back out and getting painted so it wont be orange much longer. also dont mind all the dirty rusty front end stuff its coming off this weekend to get cleaned and painted

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread

so I need opinions on my engine. should I paint it the darker gray that I have in the truck with black pulleys and brackets or do it solid orange and make it look kinda stock.... also with black pulleys and brackets. this was the orange truck I did and I really like how it turned out.

Re: JUS2QWK'S Official Build Thread

I'm a big fan of the orange/black combo. That's what I did with my 250 and the plan for the 6.0. However the gray would look good as well but may want a couple of "shiny" pieces to keep it from looking too dark.
