I have not heard of anyone trying, my guess is NO they will not fit.

I have been looking for a parts cab for this generation, with no luck. They are next on my list to make.

I covered the brackets and some MDF in black vinyl and mounted the MDF with the existing gas tank brackets. We slid in a sub and then mounted the amp. Not bad a bad result for the effort. The brackets fit very well.
