Re: 67-68 buddy buckets AZ

Last set of buddy buckets I watched on ebay went for $750 needing some cover work. These look ready to bolt in and also have the carpet for the tank. These are hard to find and usually show it in price. I don't think he is to far out of line especially if they get bought local. Here's a ttt for ya.

Re: 67-68 buddy buckets AZ

So what are they worth? A trashed set of these go for $400 & then you need seat foam & covers for another $600. Thanks for the ttt Solver.

Re: 67-68 buddy buckets AZ

If you cant get your asking price here or any other place just lower your price a little. Real easy to lower a price, kinda tuff to ask for more if they get snatched up super quick. Im selling an original set in what I consider pretty decent shape compared to some of the crap Ive seen for sale that need foams and covers. I asked 425, I think its probably a little low, they are sold pending pics. Im not worried about him changing his mind though after seeing the pics. If he does they will just go to someone else. Ive had lots of enquiries. I have another set that are pretty crappy and Im keeping those.

Re: 67-68 buddy buckets AZ

Just one of those parts I'm having a hard time parting with! I've been hoarding these seats for a couple years waiting for something worth putting them in, figured if someone was looking for a nice set I'd get rid of them, if not I'll keep looking for another project to stick 'em in. Thanks for the advice guys. Peace tavenner
Thanks,
Tom

Re: 67-68 buddy buckets AZ

I'm not choosing sides, justing giving a my perspective on the set that I just "restored". These came with my CrewCab and this is what it took to redo them:

$440 new seat foam
$400 for custom seat covers
$175 seat warmers (OK, OK this wasn't necessary, but I had to have them!)
$120 metal box for center seat
$ 30 paint
$ 10 cup holders
and about 10 hours of labor (bracket & frame repair/sandblasting/painting)

Just trying to provide a reference point. You can pay now or pay later, .

VI. If you do not like the price of an item, look further. Comments on value, condition etc will not be

tolerated.

The seats value is to be set by the seller. As the rule says, if you are not happy with the price, please just move on. Nice set of seats, good luck with the sale!!
