Bed floor opening is a cool idea. And truck looks good sitting out.

Looks great man! Can you get a close up of how you did the hinge for the tilting section of the bed?

Re: Owen's C10

Truck looks great, did you have any clearance issues with the wildwood brakes in the front and the Mobsteel wheels? Looks like you have plenty of room for the caliper in the pics but just wanted to double check.

the hinge is just a bolt stuck in a hole I drilled through the frames close to the front...I actually had made up a fancy hinge and spent a couple hours doing so, but it wouldn't let the frame pivot where it needed to so I scrapped that idea...

thanks. no, no issues at all, these wheels make the 14" rotors look small...

Re: Owen's C10

I have watched this build from the very first post and this build is amazing . Going from what most people would call scrap or junk metal to a PIECE OF ART . And yes those back tires are SICK !! It's hard not to look at them every time .

Re: Owen's C10

Wow! I have more to say, but wow!!! I'm blown away at where this truck began. I ended up finding this truck on instagram somehow but never knew there was a build thread on here. Just went through every single page and I must say your fab skills are unmatched and your vision for this truck is so clean and classy.

Now that the gawking is out of the way, what do you have for lighting in your shop? I'm looking to upgrade mine and your lighting seems bright and balanced.

Again, really great work on the truck. My new favorite on the forum. Can't wait to see paint on the bed and how you approach the interior!

thanks! seems like everyone is on IG, the forums are a ghost town as a result. anywho I think there's 14 fluorescent 4' lights, 6 per side , one lengthways in the middle and one over the bench... it is pretty bright in there I hardly ever have them all on at once... I hope to get back to painting in the fall.

Re: Owen's C10

ordered some front shocks, I've been wanting these for awhile, finally pulled the trigger...had to locate and drill holes for the PB shock mounts and bolted them on.
