Late model engine/tranny conversions

Just wondering if any of you have swapped to a fuel injected late model type of setup and if so, what type of mileage/power are you getting? I saw Brothers sells new mounts to drop in a newer style motor.

I used a 96 305/4l60e combo in my 72. The power is good, unsure of the milage but its not bad. Alot better than the stock 350 that was in it.

Re: Late model engine/tranny conversions

I just put an 01' vortec 6.0L (LQ4) and 4L80E in my 71' 4x4. Should be driving by the end of the week. I'll post up the mileage ASAP.
