My 72 short step. ZZ4 with FIRST TPI, Willwood, Vintage Air, GM cruise control, Classic Instruments, RetroSound and the list goes on. So far 12k carefree miles. It's been a lot of fun.

This guy was at one of my get togethers. Some different touches on that one.

Then there was Alan's truck, a super nice super mild custom. The two tone used a cream rather than white, it has ghost flames, and the interior had laminated multi-wood dash (pad) and arm rests in the same shape as original. Nice job on the frenched antenna, too.

I can only hope my burbs interior comes out as sharp looking as yours, i might have screwed the pooch by buying CST buckets instead of Buddy ones. those look symmetrical with the rear seat. obviously the K5's have the set up I'm going to have, just thinking out loud.....

The bed looks great, like it came from the factory!

Thanks!

It turned out great, might not be for some since it's not all original, but it's perfect for me!

Re: But, Custom trucks are cool 😎, Too

My Dad's 70 GMC C2500 Custom Camper. He purchased it new in 1970.

Mods I've done:
RideTech Strong Arm rear suspension, bagged on all four corners, Weiand Supercharger, FiTech fuel injection, 20/8.5 Coys all around, power windows, seat late 90's Chevy truck, R700 Trans, 5 Lug with disk brakes, fuel door off late 80's Chevy truck, 20 gallon aluminum rear tank.

This truck has factory air, was never wrecked, all factory sheet metal, all original grille and headlight doors and spent most of it's life in southern California. Only rust was a very small amount on the passenger side rocker panel. Otherwise rust free.

After

Re: But, Custom trucks are cool 😎, Too

There is nothing stock about this 69 CST. My finger prints are on every single part of this truck. Stock trucks are very cool, but racing a newer $50,000 and up suppose to be fast modern truck and blowing the doors off is very exciting.

I really like the paint and the louvers on this one. If that was my truck I would have gone a different route on wheels, grill, and bumper. But overall that's a super nice job, just a personal taste thing.

Lots of nice ones in here. I love the orange LS engine bay in the teal truck on page 2.
