Floor pans?

Hey all, i am new to this site, but must say there is a wealth of knowledge on here! My question is, will a complete floor pan, like the one LMC sells work in a 72 suburban? the truck i have is in need of some major floor work. i just thought it might be easier to go with a complete peice, rather then trying to patch it up. thanx in advance

Re: Floor pans?

hey Ottawa, London Ontario here. I have a 68 panel truck that had major floor issues, amongst other issues, and the truck floor pan (LMC) did the trick. If I remember we had to cut off about 6-8 inches along the back of to fit properly but it saved a ton of work and was a quality product. I'm not 100% certain about differences between the suburban floor pan vs. a panel truck but if they're similar then I'd say it would work for you. Maybe someone could chime in about panel floors vs. suburban floors?

One nice thing for me with regards to this new floor pan is that finding seats to bolt in should be easier now, I figure.

good luck.

Rob.

Re: Floor pans?

Pictures are definitely required!!
Lots of good vendors on here and I've been lucky enough to have them ship to a ups hub in Port Huron Mi. Maybe you would do well to try something like that in your favorite/most convenient border town, it saves a lot in shipping costs and avoids brokerage fees.

Okay now get some pictures!!

Goodmark and TriPlus both sell the 3rd door rocker.

That paint is great!! Put on some spandex pants, grow a mullet, throw a Warrant casette in the dash, and ROCK ON'

Great looking project, and just kidding, I like the period correct paint...when that was fashionable, nobody would roll in a " Patinamobile" remember, what was old will be new again. (hopefully except Disco)
