You'll probably have to install a high hump transmission cover in order to make it work.

Yes everything should bolt up. You may want to check into the Holley accesory kit You get everything is new at a reasonable price (<$1400) and it will bolt up with out any frame or steering interference.

Re: 69 lwb with ls3 / t56

Mine did fit but it is really close. However I had built my own mounts and dropped everything as much as possible when I did the original install 10 years ago. I would say you will probably need the high hump and yes they do show up on the parts board quite a bit.
Good luck

I don't know much about the ls3 but you may have in interference problem with the intake and the truck accessories. I know when you went from truck to car or vise versa there were issues on your throttle body placement but otherwise they will bolt on like Rob said.

No starter, just all the front accesories:

There's 3 different a/c compressors you can choose from. The only other things you need to buy is the spacer kit that matches your engine (corvette, Fbody camaro, or truck (and 2010+camaro) and the P/S reservoir.

Re: 69 lwb with ls3 / t56

hey folks

i just bought a wood bed kit from "wood bed and parts"
the quality is very nice, i do however have a few questions, does any one have detailed install pics? i have the cross sill bolted in , but i have just started and i put the first 4 outer boards in place, how can i be sure they are exactly in the correct position? this wood is expensive and i dont want to mess it up,

thanks sean

Re: 69 lwb with ls3 / t56

The high humps came in 4x4s commonly. I think there was a 2wd exception to that rule but can't recall. I have a 427LSX t-56 combo in my truck and the high hump worked great.

Re: 69 lwb with ls3 / t56

bovey, thank you for the reply,

Im super frustrated at the moment with this thing,....i contacted a resto shop to take over, im in way over my head ...spent way too much and now i dont have the skills nor the tools or the knowledge to carry on. The shop will complete the body and do the wiring, then and only then could i even think about contacting someone else to install the power train.

someday i hope it looks and drives as well as yours, thx s
