Re: Checking interest in a bolt in DBW Pedal bracket

That looks good I have an 06 pedal but its plastic. It came out of a tahoe. This should work for my style?

I think so. Can you post a picture of your pedal?

Re: Checking interest in a bolt in DBW Pedal bracket

Just to verify that this is going to work for my application.

I'm putting a 6.0l into my '67 c10. The motor and DBW truck pedal I'm using is from a 2004 2500HD.

It should. Please post a picture of your pedal so I can verify it's the same as the pedal I used to mock this up.

Re: Checking interest in a bolt in DBW Pedal bracket

Rob which do you like the look of better the corvette or the truck pedal? Is the corvette one more similar to our stock 67-72 look.?

I'm interested but probably a year away.

Re: Checking interest in a bolt in DBW Pedal bracket

I have a different style pedal....the all plastic (truck?) one. Since my setup is also genIV, will this work with the pedal I have or would I need something different?

You can use the stock 71-72 pedal pad on either DBW pedal. I like the way Corvette pedal mounts better. Unfortunately you can only use the Corvette pedal with Gen IV motors.

If your motor is a Gen IV, you can swap to the 05+ corvette pedal and use my other bracket. You just have to swap 2 wires on the pedal plug. Please post pictures of your pedal and the pedal plug.

Re: Checking interest in a bolt in DBW Pedal bracket

This is my pedal I used the bracket that came with it all I had to do was bend the bottom portion of the bracket to match the angle of the floor and used some spacers behind the bracket and the fire wall. The pedal is a little high but is lower than the brake pedal. It functions very well. Still interested in your bracket.

I'm pretty sure you can switch to the 05+ corvette pedal and use the pedal bracket that I have in my gold 68. You'll just have to swap 2 wires. Do you have a separate TAC module?

Look at this thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=631165

Re: Checking interest in a bolt in DBW Pedal bracket

Which end plug did you want to see. I actually have the vin that came out of the ecu identifying the vehicle it came out of. Bought everything as a package deal from a private sale. Didn't have to piece anything together. I did have to buy a tac. Module but used the vin and worked perfect.

The end and the side, just curious. Since its a Gen III, you won't be able to switch to the corvette pedal. I'm sure my bracket would work, but I would leave the pedal mounting holes blank so you can position it as you see fit. LMK.

Re: Checking interest in a bolt in DBW Pedal bracket

Are the 04 and down corvette pedals similar to the 05 and up pedals? I have a gen 3 motor for my 67 and was wondering if you ever test fit the older corvette pedals.

Thanks in advance!

Not yet. I thought there would be more demand for the 67-72 one. Not sure how much demand there will be for the squarebody. Might not be worth making them.
