I'm redoing the exhaust system on my 68 and would like to make someone a good deal on my "old" stuff. So here's the list:

Long tube headers (3" collectors), 2 chamber flowmasters (2), 2 1/2" aluminized exhaust with x-pipe and stainless steel tips. It's setup to go under the trailing arm crossmember and over the rear axle. The whole system has less than 2500 miles on it. Obviously this will be expensive to ship, so it will need to be picked up but I will work with you. I have a sound clip in my build thread if you want to hear how it all sounds together, post #196 :

Put me in line for the set without the headers. I can make my own arrangements to have shipped to VA 22405. Also ned to know where the cuts are made, how long the longest section is, and the total weight.

I picked up the exhaust from hilliardrw last night. Everything looks good, thanks! I put them on and they clear the motor mount by 1/2 inch! maybe less.

I only put the headers on with two bolts and no gaskets to see if they fit! Not as impressive as some other trucks on here.

OK, here's some pics and some questions. First question is for you Rob. Is the motor in your truck mounted back a few inches? The exhaust hangars that you said was bolted to the back of the rear crossmember seems like it is 3 or so inches too far forward. I was wondering if maybe yours is mounted further back. I may have to have a muffler shop reweld the collector and add a few inches of pipe there.

Second question is about clearance. This is the first set of headers I have ever installed and they seem really close to the motor mount stands and to the brake line near the crossmember. Is that normal?
