New additions

what's though up all! just thought i'd show you all a couple of my new additions.

The first pic is my new son, born today, the truck is a 70 with I6 and 3 spd. I picked up a set of 20x10 and 18x8 ridler polished wheels yesterday, and want to drop it to the ground, but as in the first pic, It'll be a while before that happens. I'm also going to convert it to 5 lug disc brakes and power steering. I'm thinking of going with 2.5' drop spindles and 2 inch drop springs in front, and and an air bag setup on rear. Any recommendations on what set up would work best, please let me know! I'm a noobie with these trucks.

Re: New additions

congrats on the baby boy looks like he'll be ridin in style in his early years. Lovin the ambition here. Bags are super easy for the half tons with truck arm rear ends. Most likely I'll be doing the same to mine.

Re: New additions

Congrats!
Early Classic Enterprises makes a pretty simple 4/6 drop kit that a bunch of guys on here, including myself, can vouch for. I'm on 17s and love the look, but with 18s & 20s I'd be opting to go a bit lower because of the proportions.

Re: New additions

Thanks guys! My first son is 4 and he loves the truck, he's ready for the local cruise nights here.
With the wheels/tire combo I will be running (18x8 front and 20x10 rear), if I go with the above mentioned lowering kit, is it economical to buy that kit, and then bag it later? I'm not sure I want to lay frame yet, but i'd like the rear wheel to tuck under the rear fenderwells because I agree with david67, it may look better because of the wheel size.
