Angry Hotchkis Upper and Lower A-Arm trouble

I have ordered and in the process of installing Hotchkis Upper and Lower A-Arms and CPP drop spindles in my 69 LWB. The trucks crossmember has been replaced with one from a 72 truck from a previous Disc Brake upgrade. The Upper A-Arms say they are designed to work with 73-87 spindles but say they will work with 71-72 if the upper ball joint is changed. I have changed the upper ball joint with the one they requested, however the upper and ball joints seem to be misaligned with each other with the lower one being about 3 inches farther forward, additionally the center axis of the spindle does not move on a level axis when moved side to side. I have added a photo of this. Any suggestion on this would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please take a picture from above the upper control arm pointing down toward the ground. Just checking to make sure you don't have the two upper control arms mounted on the wrong side.

Whatanerd - I'm using the same arms, and the pic 71bucket posted is correct, you definitely have the passenger side arm installed on the drivers side. The more steeply angled portion of the arm faces the rear of the truck.
