Engine stands

Are the big block and small block engine stands the same, except for the motor mounts (BBC = 3 bolt/ SBC = 4 bolt)? Just trying to verify. TIA

Where did you find a small block that is 4 bolt? Bolt spacing is identical small and big. From the back of the block to the engine mount center has always been 16'' with the same 3 bolt pattern

There are 4 bolt holes, but only 3 are used. Here is a picture of them mounted. Also have a picture of the stands which have multiple mounting holes and the 3 bolt big block mounts. The reason I am asking this question is that I'm doing a LT swap into my 84. I'm using the Dirty Dingo LT swap mounts and they sent me poly mount bushings for the 3 bolt mounts (BBC) when they were supposed to send me the 4 bolt mounts (SBC). Instead of sending them back, I am going to buy new 3 bolt Anchor mounts if they will fit. I've talked to Dirty Dingo, but the guy I talked to is more confused than I am. Here are some pictures.

On the small block 305/350 factory engines like long bed 1 piece drive shaft pic #3 is where it would be most times. Big block would be long bed 1 piece drive shaft #1. most time everyone does not put the 305/350 back in the right one then the drive shaft has a 1/2" more slop can be more prone to leaking on hill slop parking as time go on. ADD if your drive shaft is a little longer then then the #1 pic would not be as much of a problem.

I've always used Pic #1 for all LS/LT swaps with Dirty Dingo mounts.

Thanks. I'm using the Dirty Dingo mounts, but they sent me the Big Block poly bushings and I want to use them instead of sending them back (as long as they will work). So the stands will work with any of the motor mounts is what I'm gathering...
