I'm guessing you didn't have any clearance issues? Yours are 14" wide correct?

No clearance issues at all because I did all my cutting and welding first, then just ordered the wheels to fit perfectly. Yes, 15x14's.

How tall are your current tires? How much lower could you go in the back and still have good clearance?

I could be wrong but I dont think you can put the 18.5 wide tires under our trucks if they are dropped

Re: Pro Street Trucks/Cars pics!!! im in love with the fatty tires!!
mines a '69 shortstep narrowed 9" (narrowed 4" total) running 31x18.50 pro streets . i'm splitting the stepside fenders lengthwise 2" to fit the fatties inside. also it helps the bed look a bit "bigger" compared to the cab! lol
just dyno'd the 460 blown big block 568hp/575 torque @5700rpm. 5psi boost which puts me at a modest 11.2:1 compression . the dyno pulls can be seen on youtube .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qhqpG...etailpage#t=6s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D7qsD...etailpage#t=5s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4wp9...tailpage#t=48s |
