The '71 4x4 had one and I did use it, and the '70 I'm workin' on now has one. I like them but not in a small window '67. I don't think I would ever buy one to replace a perfectly good rear window, but, if the truck has one when I buy it I would leave it.

OR you could go this way. It’s an electric slider that I bought from a board member years ago, I put the switch in my consol so it’s easy to get to . I like the look and it works Great

I think they look at home on a C/K 20 or 30. NOT on a C/K 10 of any kind.

They don't look right on '67-'72's to me. They are not "period correct" on these! My '72 has one from the PO, but is definitely coming out!

It's period correct with the Z62 Customer Convenience Package on my 1971 C1500 (although I do believe my original one was replaced/no chrome). I like it, I just wish half of the latch didn't fall off. If cdowns likes it, it has to be good.

My truck doesn't have AC so I appreciate the sliding window.

Every truck I've owned has had a rear slider. I love them.

Re: POLL: 67-72 trucks with sliding back window. Yes or No?

During my first 'bandaid hide the rust restore' 20 years ago, I put a rear slider in and loved having it. During my recent complete frame off restore, I put the original window back in because I thought it looked better and because it was a pretty poor quality slider not worthy of my restoration. I really miss that slider not being in there now. Do people have recommendations for a good quality slider?

Personally I liked a slider in my 80 K20, but I don't like the look in 72 and older trucks.

I like the cleaner 3 piece over the 4 piece.

I put a vote in for the slide down rear window.

Re: POLL: 67-72 trucks with sliding back window. Yes or No?

Yes I really liked having one for those nice spring or fall days when the A/C isn't required.

I just would like to find one that looks good in the truck and open and closes nice, seals good and locks.

I haven't had one in years because I never found a quality one.

Re: POLL: 67-72 trucks with sliding back window. Yes or No?

Having a sliding back glass makes the truck "cooler" ..........get it? to me it the next best thing to cutting the roof off i love convertibles and having the rear glass open is great. they don't look bad to me lot better than some stuff done to trucks nowdays

Re: POLL: 67-72 trucks with sliding back window. Yes or No?

I have one in all five of my trucks. Didnt know it was a factory option though, will have to check the 71 and see if it is original (I doubt it).

I love them, the rear slider is open rain or shine. You can get some fresh air without having your side windows down making it windy and loud. Or on the really warm days, you can really get some air movement with the slider open and the windows down.

Granted, solid glass does look cleaner. For a show truck, solid glass. Anything you are going to drive, I vote slider.

I voted no don't like the way they look, PO put one in mine it's now in my garage hanging on the wall. If I didn't have A/C I might feel differently.

Re: POLL: 67-72 trucks with sliding back window. Yes or No?

I've got one of each- the '71 Cheyenne has one, the '70 C10 doesn't. I've had other trucks with and without them. They're nice, but I've never been motivated to install one, or pull one out. Lazy? Cheap? Both?
