I have never seen a chassis get snow-foamed before. Good work, that's great.

misled,
Nice cleaning shot!! I was wondering if you might share what you used? I am looking to do same on my back half soon. also i am wondering if you have a plan for the wire connections for the elec. fuel pumps? and what you plan to do for the engine wiring. .... as always... great work!! |

Re: 1978 Chevy Sport Re-creation
Since a few people asked, Harnessworx makes a kit that includes the valve and a brand new harness, including one that adds power and relays to run in tank pumps. Just over $300, but mine was astounding quality.

Really looking killer man. I may have missed it, but do you happen to know the part # for that Hooker exhaust kit?

Re: 1978 Chevy Sport Re-creation
I always wondered what the extra hole was for on the cab mount brackets, so I got under my other stepside and noticed there was a hole in the cab that matched it. I will assume the factory used these to line up the cab when the truck was assembled........sooooo I'm gonna go with that plan. At least it should give me a good starting point for getting it lined up.

Re: 1978 Chevy Sport Re-creation
Thanks for those part numbers my man. Does the exhaust hang below the frame anywhere?

That set-up tucks nicely as far as bolt-in kits go. Looks good.
