Project 72.

Started this when I was 17, and I've been super busy with school, and getting a job. It's been 4 yrs since I posted here, almost done. I've graduated college, and got a job. Still trying to find time to finish this thing. It's hard with it being 1 hour away from me. The two-tone will be finished to look like a 56 bel-air and after that's it done it will fly back together.

Front x-member is dropped 1.25" with 1.75"Z. Air Ride control arms and Firestone 2600 bags (probably going to go to slams to get more lift). Rear is a custom 3 link with Slam RE7's mounted behind axle. Everything is shaved, caddy tails, shaved gate keeping Chevrolet stamping, suicide doors and hood. LT1, 700R4, 12 bolt with 3.42 posi.

Ask questions if you got 'em. Pics are not necessarily in order (but I think are pretty close).

Re: Project 72.

Thanks for the comments guys!

As far as the suicide doors, its difficult on these trucks. You have to push the pivot up against the outer skin and Z the hinges to not hit the windows. Don't forget to brace everything, that door jamb is weak. Its the only way to get the door to clear the lower body line as it opens. And mine is oh so close. I'll take some pics of the specifics this weekend.
