I have heard thinner oils help with better gas mileage as well but has anyone else noticed how much newer vehicles tick. I can not tell you how many newer cars I have stood by and heard a tick.
On a side note I was using synthetic 10w30 on 79 truck and recently went back to conventional oil and does not seem to leak as much oil.
