Hello all, wondering if anyone makes a cross flow radiator for the 64-66 trucks,
I'm planning to put a big block in my truck and a cross flow radiator is better cooling than a down flow radiator. So in my searches for a radiator I am not finding anything to convert a down flow to a cross flow for these trucks,

Has anyone done this conversion? What did you use? Or Am I just stuck with a down flow from one of the many suppliers?

I know US Radiator makes a triple flow for our trucks. Haven't eyed a cross flow myself. Someone else may have though.

You can talk with Griffin Radiator about building one to fit the dimensions you want. I just had them build a radiator for an older AC Cobra replica kit car that I'm helping a customer get running again with an odd core size to fit that sloping nose and it was crossflow.

I run a downflow radiator (aluminum dual 1.25 tubes) in my C10 462 ci.

My 427 BBC runs cool with a standard design vertical flow radiator and an electric fan. Champion sells several different radiators for different power ratings.

Thanks for the response, guessing I will be going with a down flow which will be a more original looking under the hood and and less aggravation installing it as well.

My brother runs a Griffin cross flow (27.5" x 19") and dual fans with his built 468 Big block and it has been good. I, on the other hand, tried the Griffin and it came apart after 2 years so I went back with the Speedway 28" x 19" crossflow and a 18" T-bird/Cougar fan.

Hey Thanks for posting this, I may check to see if that will fit in mine and what is required to mount this in place especially since the exact fit version is twice the price of the universal cross flow.

You'll have to change the mounts for a cross flow, but if you can find one that fits in the available space, it would probably work
