Description: This is a New Mexico truck that I brought back to Pensacola FL when the Navy transferred me.

http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?

My plans were to make into a cool old shop truck, but I purchased another running 68 that I am going use for this instead. This is an original New Mexico 1968 50th Anniversary LWB big block, a/c, ps, pb truck. It was a running truck when the motor was pulled out and sold. I swapped the truck over to a completely rebuilt and painted 68 SWB chassis.

Chassis sandblasted and painted semi-gloss
2/4 CPP dropped springs
New front and rear shocks
5 lug disc front end with new rotors, pads, brake lines, ball joints, tie rod ends
1 1/16th front sway bars with new poly bushings
5 lug rear end with 3.08 posi and 12” drums
New poly bushings in trailing arm
ECE adjustable track bar
Shock relocators
New drive line (needs shortened for SWB)
Power steering
Power booster and master cylinder
8 inch ralleys
Polyurethane cab mounts

I pulled the engine out of a big block 71 Camper special. It was a complete setup with all the hard to find big block parts including the following:
71 402/TH400 (needs rebuilt)
Exhaust manifolds
4 core radiator
TH400 tranny linkage and crossmember
All ac, power steering and alternator brackets
BB fan shroud with correct flex fan
All 3 pulleys
Perfect passenger heat shield, heat tube and exhaust heat shield
Motor mounts and stands
Flowmaster 40 series exhaust with H pipe

The body is virtually rust free. Kick panels, floor braces and cab corners have no rust. There are a few pin holes in the rockers (replacements will be included) and the passenger side front fender cup needs to be replaced. The bed needs some body work but is a rust free wood floor bed (wood needs replaced). Tailgate is pretty nice on the outside but has dents on the inside. Glovebox in excellent condition. All glass is in great shape with a slider in the rear. All a/c components are present (inner and outer). The radio was cut but I have a panel to repair. I have more parts than I can list. Here is a link to a thread I started when I was putting this concept together:

http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?

This would be very easy to make into an authentic 50th BB SWB.

More parts included:

Correct Gold steering steering wheel with nice horn button
Front chrome bumper (drivers shape)
Rear chrome sport bumper (drivers shape - no brackets)
All e-brake hardware
a/c condensor
HEI and original points distributor
straight steel headlight bezels

Build link:
http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=343684

Asking $6000 for everything listed above or $4500 without all the big block parts. If I don't get any bites in the next month or so, I will probably part it out.

Reasonable offers will be discussed.

This is going to be a very nice solid starting point for someone. I wish I had the cash, this would be in the garage next to my Super. Good luck with the sale.

Man, I would hate to see you have to part it out. Please send me a PM if you decide to part it. I would love a solid front clip and possibly the cab and doors.

Rob,

Funds deposited in your account. If no one steps up on the bed soon I might take it too.

Thanks Tom!!! Let me know about the bed. It would save me the hassle of having to pull it off and store it. I'll have it ready to roll by the end of the week.
