Aluminum Head light,choke,and wiper knobs

$9.00 Each shipped. These use a 8-32 set screw (included) to hold them on.(not the cap screws in the pic ha ha )
If you want the head light shaft add $7.00 to the price,or you can go to your local auto supply store and buy a cheep replacement knob and use the shaft that comes with it (thats what I would be doing) because I cant find the triangle rod to make them myself.

Can you put the groove in them like the factory ones?

Yes,I can make them with a groove or two. These have a slight dome on the face so they are not flat.I can also make them any size or shape.

Re: Aluminum Head light, choke, and wiper knobs

Another member was making some that looked like originals but in aluminum. he had radio and cig lights too... If you can do those i'll take a wiper, lights, man throttle, cig lighter,radio(x2) for 6 total!

He stopped making them so I hope posting his link doesn't upset anyone...page two has the cig lighter...

Re: Aluminum Head light, choke, and wiper knobs

Got my knobs this morning. Installing now. Rain shower ran me inside.
Now I have a knob for my choke instead of a pair of pliers!

I'm very pleased with the construction and finish and they are lighter in weight than I thought they might be (that is a good thing).

The one nitpick I have is, I think the set screws provided should be longer for more bite of thread in the tapped hole.

Thanks again
Joe

Re: Aluminum Head light, choke, and wiper knobs

Any chance you could make some headlight and wiper switch bezels? To go along with a stock looking headlight and wiper knob in billet.

I have a billet dash, so I'd like to jazz up the rest of it.

I have a stock headlight switch, and a Newport Engineering wiper switch.

The thread pitch/size on the Newport switch is 7/16" 28TPI... A longer shank on back would work, too.

I also have a GMC Custom. Any chance you make the badge that went on the glove box door?

So, if you can, I want knobs (sounds wrong), bezels and a GMC Custom glove box emblem.
