If you are using a Viair supplied leader hose off of the compressor, it will be on the end of the hose. Use the foreground of the pic as reference.

Pulled the one-way check valve off, tapped on it a few times with a wrench, started the compressor up and WALA, we're back in business!!!! You guys rock, !

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

Went through this last weekend, check valve was cracked. Bought a new one and fixed the air leak I have.

Now the passenger front is leaking, got to locate this leak too. Fun never ends...

I like the short box build. Nice detail and great craftsmanship. Keep up the good work. I think I have the perfect transport for it.

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

Well the 68 left for California a week ago. The new owner seems very pleased with the truck, . Since the truck left, I have been cleaning/rearranging my garage and my shop. I'm also trying to figure out where I left off with the suburban and taking inventory of where I'm at. Hopefully I'll get a plan in place and get this build back on track.

Thanks Doc! Everything worked out in the end. I've got the burb's "home" cleaned and have updated my notes on where I'm currently at. Progress is being made,

Thanks!

Got the shop cleaned and making some progress. I cleaned the burb a little and got it up on blocks. I'm still trying to sort out my a/c lines. This was one of the things that caused me to turn the lights off and lock the doors on this project. I think I have it figured out but I need to find a tool or somebody that has the tool to reflare the ends of the a/c lines coming off of the evaporator. Here's a picture of the flare I need to be able to make. Any suggestions would be awesome.

I work with a guy that has a small hot rod shop on the side that is a dealer for Vintage Air. He said Vintage Air sell the tubing in different lengths with either male or female ends. They told him to bend the tubing how he wants it, send it to them and they would flare it. He did tell me it he ever found the machine to do it he would have one. If you have any question give him a call on the cell number.

Re: 1969 SuperBurb build-up (Bagged and Blown!)

I think I've about got the AC figured out, will know for sure in the morning. I've been buying an purchasing a bunch of miscellaneous small parts and one big purchase. I've been working with Dakota Digital on a new set of gauges for the Burb. Will be about 4 weeks before they are done. Hopefully they will turn out the way I want. I also got the auxiliary transmission cooler mounted and the supercharger heat exchanger mounted. All I need to do now is finish running the lines.
