Took Henry to Classic Truck Nationals this past weekend in Waxahachie, TX. While getting it ready for the event, did a much needed oil change and radiator flush/refill. When I started up the truck to move it onto the ramps for the oil change, I head the belt squeal like it was loose, seemed odd since it is a serpentine belt with a spring tensioner. It went away as it idled once it was on the ramps. Killed it and did the oil change. Once I was done with that, I started it up, and looked for leaks. Opened the hood and all looked good. Then I just happened to notice the tensioner. Belt is running true and not making noise at this time, but it does not look right. (first picture)
The other pics are the damage to the pulley, or what was left of it. Replaced the tensioner, but kept the belt as it had NO signs of excessive wear or damage to the ribs. ![]()
