When you lower a trailing arm truck the wheel rotates rearward. The best way I can explain it is to look at a clock; notice where the 5 and the 3 are. If the wheel is at 5 at stock height then it will be at 3 when lowered, and noticeably farther to the right or rearward in this case. The weird thing is that on the same truck with a fleet side bed the wheel moves forward in the opening.

Nice build! I finally took the time to read the whole thing.

In order to help you out on the vibration.

I did away with my 2 piece driveshaft about 20 years ago. Keep in mind, I heated and cut my coils then ( probably about a 2/4 drop). I had a vibration at about 50 to 60 mph. Not constant, but a vib...vib...vib.

Took driveshaft back to get balanced. No change. Has had about 60,000 miles put on since and no issues besides annoying me. ( speedo has read as high as 120).

Later we changed the 3.08 out for 3.43's.....same vibration.

Last year I did a proper 4/6 drop, changed the 15's for 18/20 combo.
End of story....vibration is still there....no change!

So it appears with the PB crossmember it has plenty of holes for dialing in this issue? Looks that way.

It does, but they are configured to help the extreme drop member with a fleet side bed. To do this they move the wheels back not forward. They are building mine with the crossmember portion 1" forward to pull the wheels forward in the wheel well. Anyway we'll see in about 6 weeks!

Shouldn't. In stock form the bolt holes align, but in lowered form everything swings rearward. With the crossmember pulled forward the mounts should align. Theoretically
